Chanda Pant

Chanda has been in the field of teaching for the last 24 years, of which 20 years has been with the GEMS family. During her tenure she has successfully functioned in diverse roles from a Classroom Teacher to a Learning Coach to Phase Leader to Head of Primary in India and in UAE.

Currently she is working as the Assistant Principal in the Primary School at The Westminster School Dubai. She holds a degree in Master’s in Ecology and Environment and a Master of Education from Mumbai University (India) which has helped her appreciate the various facets of child psychology and improve teachers’ pedagogical approach in teaching young learners. She has developed herself from being a skilled and committed teacher to a courageous and flexible leader who can get the best out of her team based on their individual strengths.
